When her speed journal is stolen by a pick pocket, Jesse "Quick" Chambers must get it back before her coveted speed equation falls into the wrong hands.
A WORD FROM CHRIS
I've been a life long Flash fan, but not just of Barry Allen and Wally West, but of the extended Flash family as well. I knew going into this short, I wanted to bring the comic version of Jesse Quick to life. As much of a fan as I am of the CW Flash, I wasn't 100% fond of them making Harry Wells into Jesse's father.
So as usual, I did my homework on the character and I found a good place in time to set my story- during Jesse's time at Gotham University. She was on her own and trying to steer clear of being a superhero. I liked the idea of Jesse wanting to just be on her own and just focusing on bettering herself.
We shot the whole thing in a day in downtown Long Beach. The VFX were surprisingly easy. You can actually download the same ones I used here: vfx.productioncrate.com/
Everything else is just a simple and clever editing.
