Hello everyone, welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! After conquering the Underliberator, Blint the Underlich begins erasing the Webbed Deep Dwellers from existence by seizing their Cities, Migrating them to the Scourge, and then releasing them as Vassalized puppets to sow chaos across the land. During his unholy schemes, the Underlich encounters a Blint that has been reforged in the Light at 1:07:13, and the B-Team begins the long awaited siege of Underlight at 1:18:33. The Undersavior had no interest in fighting a siege battle and chose to flee, but the craven dog was swiftly captured at 1:39:13, securing the second kill for the Underlich. Thanks for watching!

34:36 "Should be an easy battle" and losing units: name a more iconic duo. Edit: 56:48 Round 2, Undead Boogaloo.

33:29 It may surprise you as it surprised me, but you cannot annex a wonder if units stand upon its very control point, so move your units and you can annex it. Also this rule is not strict, sometimes the annexation works, sometimes it does not.

I told you will like the migrating/releasing strat, it is the best for income and power, you get more heroes to hire and more points to rally of lieges and everything is your culture/faction, so all is good :)

The vampiric elves in Warcraft are the San'layn ;D Also, I'm surprised you didn't give the Underpope Umbral Disciples, considering how he betrayed Anubis to side with Urrath.

I considered it but I ultimately chose a reforged in the Light approach for more variety. (:

Don't know if you noticed, and I don't think you called it out (may have missed it), but the Underpope was pure evil. I giggled a little. Also, my Warcraft lore is rusty and lacking, but I think you can hand wave any questions about "Why didn't the scourge do X, Y, or Z?" with "Arthas's remaining humanity was holding the scourge back from it's full potential", or something like that.
@Fableheim3 күн бұрын
I didn't notice it, but that 100% tracks! He turned pure evil in the Anubis playthrough, despite my best efforts to make his AI be a good boi. -_- Your rusty lore is absolutely correct, so I might just have to borrow that -- thanks! ;)

As far as Arcane goes, the Scourge used mostly Ice-based ones, as well as teleportation magic. Also, necromancy was technically, originally, a "school" of arcane magic on Azeroth (if I remember the short stories correctly.). Fey though....I wonder...the realm you go to collect the spirit of your Undead mount as a young Death Knight is part of the Shadowlands...and isn't there, strictly speaking, Fey in that realm? You could say it's "just to get my mounts"...yes?

I believe you are correct about the origins of Necromancy in Azeroth! Death Knights began in Outlands, but the Wizards of Dalaran began researching it after the Second War. They ended up banning it because of the drain it put on the mortal body, which ultimately lead to the whole Kel'Thuzad storyline. Hmm, robbing Ardenweald for Fey Magic head canon? I like it! :D

I do think that drazhoath play through was the hardest. Recently rewatched it over the year’s end. You mention it in I think multiple videos, you were stuck on the same space of screen for about 6 episodes before finally vassalizing blint and being able to actually do other things
@walkrvc4 күн бұрын
1:07:53 I see now why you corrected me in the earlier video lol. And oh my God this one is evil too
@Fableheim3 күн бұрын
Yeah, the GOAT was _designed_ to be the hardest playthrough, but I think the Drazhoath one still takes the cake. It's scarred me from doing another Seals campaign. 😅

1:33:00 You lost 125 mana per turn to that trait.

If you research the Eternal Earth spell that makes your elementals undying and your Earth Titan is killed in combat will it resurrect after the battle as an actual unit?
@Fableheim3 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, no. It will respawn only for that combat. I believe the only way to obtain a real Earth Titan is to find a neutral one on the map and perform some Polymorph and Domination trickery.
