5:00 into the video and THAT'S where she decides it's a good idea to stop and tune her guitar. Any bass players, drummers and/or singers watching this right now are saying to themselves "EVERY GUITAR PLAYER EVER" lolololol. This is a super cool pedal! Thanks for sharing this!

Egad! I'm so on the fence over the Chase Bliss vs. the Fuzz Factory 7. I can see this is a more practical version of the Fuzz Factory 7 - with added features. The Chase Bliss might be better for live work. But, no custom artwork. No little window thingy displaying super old and obscure Ge transistors. And then there's my deep fear of dip switches :(
@GetOffset2 жыл бұрын
Being able to save pre-sets makes this way easier to use on stage than a traditional Fuzz Factory for sure. I wonder if you could pay Zvex to paint it...
@silvermica2 жыл бұрын
@@GetOffset - Oh, yeah, I forgot about saving presets. Good point. Hmmm...Maybe I could buy the Chase Bliss and stuff it into a uniquely painted box - similar to how Zvex does it. EDIT: I just realized this is exactly what you just said - but what I actually meant was maybe I could yank the electronics out of the Chase Bliss, find another box, paint it with glitter and cool art then stuff the Chase Bliss engine inside.

1:25 - Those dip switches scare me. Maybe the Fuzz Factory 7 is more my speed.

You don't really need to mess with them, they're pretty optional but once you get the hang of them they're great!

If I have a choice between this and a haunt for those flubby tones with harmonic screeching underneath what do I go for?
@GetOffset2 жыл бұрын
Haven't played a haunt but I can definitely tell you which is easier to get haha
@beforever2 жыл бұрын
@@GetOffset there's a few on reverb rn, price seems okay, I know CBA and zvex make amazing equipment I'm concerned it's more synth than pedal I guess :/ the haunt is certainly extreme for a fuzz but it looks simple compared to this piece of alien tech!

I could lose hours playing around with this and an expression pedal. Have you ever played an original Fuzz Factory? If so, how is this one cooler/different? Thanks.
@GetOffset3 жыл бұрын
Oh man I was just thinking about how fun it would be to assign an expression pedal to tune the squealing or to the low pass filter--that would probably end up in one of those moments where I plan on playing for fifteen minutes and leave my office four hours later, haha! I honestly haven't played an original Fuzz Factory, but I have played the Fuzz Probe. This is a LOT easier to dial in (if there is such a thing as easy in regard to any Fuzz Factory).

@@GetOffset I have 100 boss Metal zone at home, if you wonder why I would give you this. My grandma is the inventor of the Metal zone. Her name is Roland Boss. I want your bliss pedal, because I know that you take good care of it. The Metal zone I will send you is still New. My brother used it just once to record an album for his Band in flames. The Name of my brother is Roland "Metal zone" pro-guitarist. That's a double last name, because my mouther wanted to keep her last name "queen-elizabeth", which she got from my grandma Queen "Roland Boss" Elizabeth the second. Please let me know when you will send the pedal
