"How can every religion, claim to be he only one, How can they preach love - yet fight each other holding guns" My favourite line which is also true.
@Mypenisissmallbut2 жыл бұрын
Yes, what’s more likely, they all arguing because 1 of them is right? Or they all arguing because they are ALL wrong… really funny if you think about it they literally arguing over who’s imaginary friend is the real one… It also calls out the wars and deaths over religion, how many people have been killed ‘in the name of god’, the amount of gays put to death because of religion, not to mention slavery was endorsed in the bible. Yea, religion really “preaches love” when it’s convenient And also, the line before “never be afraid to ask questions” I think is pointing how questioning religion just leads you to more questions as often church people will get angry for even suggesting ‘gods word’ doesn’t make any sense.
@xang90932 жыл бұрын
Most powerful line in any song.

logic implies that there is either 0 or 1 true religion. if there is a true religion then their actions that they take to defend their religion are all morally correct while all these other false religions that take actions to defend their religions are committing evil because they are defending a lie. The problem isn't with the actions that those of a religion take but rather the problem is trying to discern which religion is true, it is wrong of people to say that 1+1=3 and it is even more wrong for those people to persecute those who say otherwise, but it is okay for people to say 1+1=2 because it is true, it is also okay for those people to condemn people who try to argue against this truth, this same logic can be applied to the debate about religions. Now to say that God isn't real is a ridiculous statement as i will demonstrate with this simple logical deduction: Everything is an effect which has a cause and all causes are an effect which also had a cause, etc. now all effects and causes are finite and have a beginning and an end, but causes and effects can not be traced back infinitely because they are finite, this means that all things must be traced back to something which is infinite and which has no cause. if there was something which was infinite and had existed eternally without being created and without ever creating anything and then all of a sudden it created all of the universe then it must have done so out of a decision, which means it has a consciousness, which means that this infinite and eternal thing is in fact a living being with thoughts and creativity, or God. this theory also proves monotheism over polytheism. (credit: St Thomas Aquinas) the only true religion would be one which worships God and which follows the teachings of God to the fullest. so now the question becomes did this infinite being (which is God) ever give humans knowledge of itself and if so then who did God give it to and has the information retained itself to 100% accuracy. i personally believe that were God to give us knowledge of himself then he would make sure that, that knowledge would be preserved, as he is all powerful and if he went through the effort to give us that knowledge he would preserve it. so then all that remains is discerning which religion is the correct one, and that religion is the one which should be defended at all costs even to death, because after all we are only going to live for about 80 years so why not do what the eternal being wants of us, as he is the only one capable of bring us into eternity. i believe i have the correct religion and the easiest simplest method of discovering it with a 100% success rate is by humbly and fearfully kneeling down in a private place (maybe your bedroom) and asking the eternal creator of the universe what the truth is and to guide you to the truth. you may not receive the correct answer immediately (or maybe you will) but if you even have a smidge of patience and ask this everyday until your answer arrives then you will receive the true answer. i know i have the correct answer for what the true religion is but sadly literally anybody can say that including liars, so instead of simply saying "i received the answer in prayer" i will actually present any proofs of my religion because they are abundant. but this comment is getting too long so i will only tell those who ask.
@perpetualponder68512 жыл бұрын
@@bucko3353 this guy starts off by discrediting every religion and concludes that his lone subjective perception has found the ultimate "truth". Sounds like the start of a religion, thought group, cult, etc. Don't trust anyone that anoints themselves as some arbiter of morality and "truth". Come to your own conclusions on what this life is for yourself. Your beliefs don't make you a good person your actions and how you treat people around you and this world determine if you're a good person.
@bucko33532 жыл бұрын
@@perpetualponder6851 I never anointed myself as a lone arbiter of truth, why would you say that? If you read my reply I am simply posing many logical truths that are impossible to deny with logic. And at the end of my reply I even state that the truth can be found on your own by simply humbly praying to God, I also say that I would never use my own revelations from god as proof and that if anybody asked me for proof of my religion I would present many other proofs. You also don't even know which religion I follow, the true religion has already been around for 2000 years and is the oldest (and truest) of all the Christian denominations. I will state once more; logic implies that either 0 or 1 religion is true, this can't be argued against with logic. Please don't resort to insults (especially baseless ones) instead try to debunk my logic with your own.

Lyrics: I was born in the 80's with that summertime love Then changed the whole game like whatever I'd done Out the gutter I come To touch the bright sun And from the highest heights motherfucker I jump Free in the sky of belief I can fly, Ain't no tellin what they're sellin man they're sheep in disguise Keep this in mind, I keep on my grind I can do it anywhere, when I do it and Bitch I'll sleep when I die Explosive, ferocious, get up get down that's showbiz Power to the people that have freedom in their focus I hope this helps you when your under the thumb When you feel like nothing can save you When you feel like jumpin the gun Stop relax and remember even in the worst weather You'll find a way across it, there'll be brighter days honest So get up, get out and get somethin that's on the real Forget what you were taught and show these people how you feel Like Who are you to tell me how to live my life Cause I won't give this up These are my shoes My view My cue To say I do give a fuck And pretty soon I'm a bloomin it'll be alright Everyday's another chance to ignite Cause I'm addicted (Uh-Oh), I'm addicted (Uh-Oh) I'm addicted to this universal feelin called life Since a foetus, explored life's subtle secrets From my fingertips to my unique double helix I can see history, I can see the past lessons It's your right never be afraid to ask questions How can every religion, claim to be the only one How can they preach love - yet fight each other holding guns I think the golden sun might be able to shed some light I'd rather push peace and knowledge to defend our rights These leaders in suits tell us to fight for one side You think they got their sons and daughters on the frontline? Not down for war but down to get an education We're all equal yet they push synthetic separation But in this matrix I won't be failin to make it This is my cosmos baby space sailin with Sagan I heard it's not where your from it's where your carvin' your view I heard you don't have to wear a suit to argue the truth And so Who are you to tell me how to live my life Cause I won't give this up These are my shoes My view My cue To say I do give a fuck And pretty soon I'm a bloomin it'll be alright Everyday's another chance to ignite Cause I'm addicted (Uh-Oh), I'm addicted (Uh-Oh) I'm addicted to this universal feelin called life They spoon feed but I won't be taken that sedative Cause my thoughts are way to precious to waste on the negative I keep them critical yet positive to break the chains Every dawn is a new chance to make a change Think about all the energy swirlin all around us We project it, we get affected this is profound stuff Earth is my garden and I grew from it I pay the youth homage cause I know their views honest Can you read between the lines of the news comments Fightin' over land just to take some fuel from it I guess oil boils down to some cool profits But war, what is it good for really who wants it? Like Who are you to tell me how to live my life Cause I won't give this up These are my shoes My view My cue To say I do give a fuck And pretty soon I'm a bloomin it'll be alright Everyday's another chance to ignite Cause I'm addicted (Uh-Oh), I'm addicted (Uh-Oh) I'm addicted to this universal feelin called life
