Great devotees. Sure is a good way to purify oneself. To me it does not matter whether you enter church or mosque or visit Temple. The fact that you are there with good intent is enough. It is not waste of time. It is getting in touch with yourself. It is surrender. When they sing Hyms in the church for example you can see the spirits become one. There is bliss. So also here. I meditate instead in the past. Maybe will return to it and also visit mayapur.
