By the way, here's an unsolicited suggestion if you're interested: If you find parrying to be too tedious, I recommend trying out the Barricade Shield ash of war on your shield. It makes almost every human-sized enemy in the game bounce off your shield when you block, leaving them wide open for a Guard Counter (pressing R2 after blocking an attack). It also helps against bosses and allows you to block huge attacks that would otherwise break your guard.

@@RhokuTV Yeah sure! Parrying is great, it gives that dopamine when you pull it off. I also recommend Carian Retaliation instead of Golden Parry if you want an answer to stuff like the annoying homing fireballs and other spells. It parries spells and turns them into glintblades that automatically hit the enemies.

@@HamsterPants522 I have an additional brass shield iwth Carian Retailation. Its not as useful as I thought though because like, later on into the game, no ranged npcs only shoots one projectile. Which means that if you block 1, you are taking every single other one which ruins ur hp bar. I also don't know how to control the swords at ALL. Like when do they shoot at the enemy?

@@RhokuTV Oh, after like a 2 second delay, they shoot at whichever enemy you're locked onto as long as you're standing close enough to them.

I've changed my build AGAIN after the DLC for maximum cool factor but im runnign the lance+shield combo till the end of the DLC.

@@RhokuTV That's a pretty solid approach to the game. I've been using a Strength/Int/Faith build swapping between Relanna's swords + shield, and a Giant Crusher with the Prayerful Strike ash of war. It's given me an answer to pretty much everything in the game. I love how many different ways the game lets you play.

@@HamsterPants522 Bro im running 80 strength / 80 dex double quality straight swords and i am shredding absolutely EVERYTHING. Its actually insane dps. Literally the only bad thing about this game is that it carries with it such a toxic community.

@@RhokuTV I feel you on that. The community sucks. Many of them have gamer brainrot syndrome and are allergic to fun, or they lack media literacy and wildly misinterpret the story of the game, then complain about the narrative based on their inaccurate conclusions. To be honest, it's in some ways even worse than the League community, and it saddens me, because I love this game so much.

viego mid is an actual thing btw,he is soo good in skirmishes (aka the bs happens in bot) he just have to survive lane or go even to do good cuz 1 reset on viego is an already won teamfight early on
