ABOUT & GAMEPLAY: THRONEFALL
With Thronefall we tried to strip a classic strategy game from all unnecessary complexity, combining it with some healthy hack and slay. Build up your base during the day, defend it til your last breath at night.
Will you be able to strike the right balance between economy and defense? Do you need more archers, thicker walls or an additional mill? Will you keep the enemies at bay with your longbow or charge your horse right into them? It's going to be a tough night, but nothing beats seeing the sun rise above your little kingdom to live another day.

I think this might work so in the beginning you really want to focus on economy and in mid-game start to focus on your defense and then when you're fighting the boss get a lot of the hot oil and just get an ungodly amount of troops put it like a decent amount of longbow and also some nights and then the rest flaman and crossbowmen

After watching Alot of people play this game... That's pretty much how you gotta play every level with slight tweaks here and there. But for this specific map? Absolutely needed. Plus the blacksmith can be a good investment if you can get your economy working fast enough.

Ballista is a must for going 3 mutations and you sont need hot oil with fire archers

You could unlock the 3rd unit type for the archery range. Also the 2nd perk is really helpful too.

I think you were really lacking upgrades and buildings on the last wave. Your best course of action would be to try and invest into more economy early so you can build more units, towers, and blacksmith upgrades for the last wave

The first time i played this level, i was able to just BAAAARRREEELY eek out a win thanks to the third weapon type you unlock in this game, as well as some good economy in the beginning. Later perks can absolutely trivialize the game in some ways too.

Archer enemy: who's the first attacker now?

Ignore that bottom keep about 5 o’ clock on the lake. Max the outside towers and walls, especially the left side because that guards your 2nd archery range. Outside tower on the left before the outer gate gets hot oil, the tower over the hill from it near the fishing shack and archery gets a ballista to take down giants and siege engines. Go economy heavy early on. Also, I’ve had better luck tanking damage from the spawned enemies and kiting them around to protect the towers. Once you start losing towers on that level, you’re toast.

You're gonna want the war horse perk to beat this level, and also invest more in your early econ. Also don't get the house building upgrade from the lvl2 castle. You need more AoE damage, the longbows don't really do much on this map.

Economy is good on early game, so prioritize economy first.Then defenses. Defenses are very important on early-game,mid-game and late-game.Lastly, units. Units are important on mostly mid-game and late-game, upgrade them constantly like everytime you finish a wave. But most importantly... DON'T WASTE MONEY ON USELESS STUFF!

I play that round you need to upgrade all the tower near your castle, you have to make the towers into bllista and hot oil both sides of the ice if you can make all the towers near the big monster in to hot oil (tower). And for the final round you need to make sure that all your troops is also inside of the last gates to defend it make the archer hold their possession near the caster or near the monster. Troops is needed in the final round. 😅😊 hope can help

Great video. I wish there were some expensive buildings. From what I've seen and played it seems like you want to spend all of your good every round. A high risk of saving gold to high reward of spending next round building would be cool. But I havnt seen everything for the game yet either

the boss is not that hard i bet it first try but i knew what the boss can do. just get lot of troops and split them half and half on each side, for your king just get the assassin upgrade and the Royal training upgrade for damage and just Target the beast. and next time get the forge and just upgrade damage. the faster you can damage the beast the less damage he can do.

Totally worth reading I think though. 🍞 Tiny human soldier pov: **giant squiddy boi emerges from the ground and sprays enemies all over the map sowing chaos destruction and death to all who cower in it's enormous shadow blocking out the sun with grotesque growling and squelching noises** ruuuuunnnnn!!!! Squid pov: **just a regular squid maybe a foot long that are something no bueno and accidentally got washed into a tide pool and started feeling ill so it flipped up onto the "shore" of the little 6-8ft wide pond and starts puking out what it ate and groaning because it's tummy is upset and the ants on the shore are swarming his head while he's all sick to his stomach just having a horrible day**

You focused way too hard on defense in the beginning, if every wave isn't as tight as possible than you won't have enough economy to save money to beat the boss. (or just get more perks. ie. the hunters, flame archers, broadsword ect.
