Blitz, you need to remember that in Thrive, you can press the 'G' key to allow you to eat the bits of the dead that pop out when you kill something. Eating those bits gives you more energy and stuff to evolve.

I also played it but never knew you could get a game over. I always won. Some Strategies I noticed: - you can get good amount of ATP from Iron ( But stay at iron-Areas). - Sunlight is ultimate, because you can generate as much glucose as you need and stay alive as long as you want - Don't evolve yourself into something dangerous, so no one else will likely evolve it. - Get the stronger modules by taking that insanely costly cell which you mentioned. (They are worth it) - Don't evolve some useless cells (Cell- storage)! - Speed can be a way to win ( Put your wiggly-things as far back and in the middle as you can). But the heavier you get, the less speed you'll get. One mistake of you: You can eat your opponent, after you killed it. (It is a special mode you have to activate). But you can only eat them at a certain cell-type (It's the same as you start with and you haven't even explored the ability to change the celltype yet). Also to note: Where you put your cells corresponds to the creature at the end, so you could also protect yourself better or just make yourself a bit wider (You can also leave some spaces free). I find it cool the more you evolve the more cells kinda look like you. Your cell has the strongest traits for survival that's why you lived long so other cells take your body shape or have what you have.

After awhile, the enemies will begin following your "neesh", which is to say your evolution line. Resulting in you having to fight swarms of your own creatures! The stabby part feels like a trap in this sense, because not only does it get in the way of you being able to engulf enemy parts, but it also results in you getting swarmed by enemies that will pretty much always have a stabby part. Cells without a stabby part win battles based on Size, allowing them to engulf any cell that is smaller than them whole (generally), and of course do more contact damage based on their size. Finally, when you have enough Sugar production, you can actually regain glucose by remaining still. Movement drains your energy faster, which then burns more glucose to replenish it.

Is this correct? You spelled niche wrong, for one, and and niches aren't evolutionary lines. Rather niches are the organisms 'job' or 'role'' in an ecosystem. What you're talking about is just the evolutionary line.
