Iron contribution grabbing the iron worms seems like it would be clutch because it can gather more iron than each node would give out. And agreed, that missile reload was seriously life saving. And it got more bonkers as you got a larger supply of missiles.

I did this with the drone hub since iron contribution mission has no combat and the mission basically completes itself

with that nerf of not transporting resources, i am not sure the teleporter is really worth it anymore. you are better off selecting almost anything else and hope to find the eye teleporter.

I wouldn't say that, isn't the eye restricted to only returning to a spot with a long cool down? At least with that teleporter you can pair it with any automatic resource collection method and basically never have to worry about making it back again.

​@@DemonKing19951 Teleporter was always good because it let's you reach the bottom much faster than any other method. It being able to get resources was also largely suplanted by drones.

I think I would add an upgrade. auto Resource collection. Every 3 seconds it grabs a nearby resource to leave inside your base. A slow but steady trickle of resources from the mines. One you cannot upgrade over drones, elevator or other. You'll still have to haul resources but you have to haul less. How I would balance this? Six water and 10 iron. It's expensive and will take a while to pay it back.

Fun fact! Both the drill rig and the underground station are able to go through the bedrock! The drill would slowly dig it while the station would go through it IF there's open space underneath it!

Oh god this one. I ended up failing on the last wave with the artifact because I set myself up with the exact combo of supplements and whatnot to be stuck in an infinite loop. I had droneyard (fast release attack drones), autoheal below a certain damage threshold, 2x sawblades, the defense spire with AOE bullet blocking and stun, and as many rounds as possible. There were two of those deer looking guys left, my drones stopped firing, and the enemies were not close enough for the sawblades to reach. Every time the spire stopped stunning, the enemies would shoot and damage the dome, only for the autoheal to bump it back up to where the artifact could not trigger. Since none of my drones or saws could do anything, it was just a constant case of stall, stall ,stall, take damage, heal, stall, stall... this went on for 15 minutes as I sat and waited, PRAYING that somehow there was a sliver more damage that each bullet would do that the heal couldn't compensate for, but no. I couldn't kill them, and they couldn't kill me, so I had to restart the run. Thankfully the second time around I made sure to pick lasting drones over the faster releasing ones, and was able to beat the final wave without the artifact activating.

The teleporter upgrade description says it teleports anything you carry with you, which I interpret to mean you need to be actively carrying the resources to teleport them. Then again, the upgrade also says it doesn't teleport resources, so I don't know.

It's worded a little weirdly, but it does specify you can't teleport resources or large objects (so, gadgets, supplements, and the relic.) All it really means is that you can teleport with anything you carry from your dome down to the mine. Bombs, iron worms, mushroom spores, drillbert and his treats, etc.

The underground station is insanely OP with the drone yard since when you upgrade the station to be able to get upgrade underground the only thing left to do is get the resources up and thats what the drones are made for! I tried it and i didnt have to go to the top once (unless for the supplements or relics)

You should give drone yard a good chance, it's a lot stronger than you'd think. This would've been the perfect chance for it, but I'm starting to pick it for a lot of things recently. The damage that battle drones do can easily save you from more damage than the shield protects you from, and they are autonomous by default, I'm pretty sure.

Now that I think about it Blitz, with that challenge you can focus on mining without having to go up to battle on the early to mid game since the defense is basically automatic, giving you extra time to mine everything. Commented this before wave 2.

You can't, game doesn't allow you to break it. As for how far down you can go there's also a hard limit I think 20 blocks or so once you reach bedrock bottom
