On the 'Small Map' there is a square in the dark, on the top left corner. You can see it if you blow up a nuke near the corner, because the explosion lights up the background. Selecting it and deleting it also deletes the map.

Just a little hint here but the website pcpartpicker does wonders. It finds compatible parts for what you pick, and handles buying the parts. Also kinda gives you an outline of what you need and building a pc from parts is like legos. Pretty easy if you can find the instructions online. All I can say is nothing below 6 GB on your graphics card and try for ddr4 ram, if not ddr4 then no less than ddr3.
