Quick Blitz Tip: Defenders are more of a stationary ranged defense rather than offensive attackers. Warrior fills in their spot better (as offense). Use defenders to protect your hives/walls/base in the future.

Well, Defenders also play an important offensive role, as they are the only range unit other than the spore launchers and unlike the spore launchers can be used for mobile fire. Sure you could just craft spore lauchers but you get more defenders hitting things and chasing things down then spore launcher.

If you're going to make so many hives, you need wayyy more nutrients. You really only need to place down 2 or so hives at each "checkpoint" you make though as that will make plenty of buggos.

You can leftclick and hold while building them to kind of paint the areas with them, efficient builders makes it very easy to get economy fairly quickly.

This really is just "what if we were zerg" the game. Swarmed are zerglings, fast and cheap, but fragile. Defenders are roaches, slow and short ranged, but tanky. I assume the warrior will be the hydralisk, very good ranged damage, but vulnerable if caught without support.

I just beat the game on hard, with fast efficient builders to make nutrient pustules and spore launchers early, then add some upgraded boom slugs later once you have lots of nutrients or are fighting tanks/teslas no need for anything else, other than upgrading swarm capacity

Bugs don’t really taste like anything tho I believe most of them are full of protein. “Note” I’ve only eaten bugs like Beatles crickets grasshoppers and maggots so I’m not a expert

What do you mean? defenders are actually good with attacking especially if you max em out. For example, in the later stages you can maintain your warfront against strong lasers and tanks using a constant supply of swarmers and maxed defenders. Tip: 3 maxed out defenders can kill a tank
