@@GhostDad420 his speed dropped to 0m/s on the exact frame of ejection (probably ksp updating the state change), and the readout was 615m/s just before the state change. I may have gone per frame to check the speed…

You can calculate how much fuel you used and then empty your tanks to that amount and you'll go even faster!

The fact the pod racer with its rockets broken off was arguably one of the more successful designs amuses me so much. I came here to see someone set the land spoeed record properly and either the game is that janky or civil engineers just aren't good at building cars. Either way subscribed

Amazing also the reason the parachute didn’t want to work is the item won’t open to release the parachute in atmosphere until it’s slows to a certain speed and it won’t open to stop until a slower speed in 1 that was 150m/s

A drag chute is much higher in speed but will not stop you from moving at terminal velocity

Pro tip, if you've got excess fuel, use smaller tanks, you're essentially just adding more weight that has no use other than keeping you grounded, so theoretically, reducing your mass while keeping the same force coming out the back (ie, using the same engines), you can even further increase your speed and acceleration.

Pro tip: wings generate lift so if you use them at high speeds you'll go up unless you change something with them

Slightly funny how Blitz thinks SAS is bad..... Just so yall know, it stands for Stabilisation Assistance System ( I think I've only played ksp1 ) And it controls multiple factors to stabilise: Wings Engine vectoring (engine nozzle movement) Rcs engines (if activated) Rcs control wheels Hope this helps people who haven't played ksp1 to get better at ksp2!

If you put wings on you should probably put them on with a negative angle of attack. That should provide some downforce to keep you on the runway. But somehow i feel like it wasn’t the meaning that just the kerbal survives. The vehicle should come to a stop at the end of the runway.

I have a suggestion for a plane. It can be called hyper S0N1C and add as a few long lasting medium speed boosters and back up extremely fast medium lasting boosters held by a ton of duck tap. Make it in the shape of mr beans car with wings as it would be funny. See if you can get Mach 10 with it as a challenge if you want.
