38:00 Partical cannon is anti-shields. Uses a crap load of mana and fires really slow, but does mega damage. Lookout tower doesnt do damage directly, it adds its damage potential onto marked targets, where other towers will do that bonus damage, to said marked targets. A damage buff for other towers, if you will.

What's good about it is that upgrading one lookout tower can be the same as upgrading every other tower in the area.

Seriously, get fewer tower types each run. If you don't have Tesla Towers, you won't get any options for upgrading them, which means more options for upgrading other things. Same goes for any other type of tower. So if you end up with just 3 or 4 tower types you can actually have a decent chance of maxing out the upgrades for them.

That is not true. You are getting upgrade cards for towers you don't have.

@@hubertnnn No, those are upgrade cards for status effects. The upgrade cards appear in game in the same progression as in the unlocks menu. You obviously can't get Banditry II without first getting Banditry I, and you can't get Nitric Acid without getting Flame Towers. You *can* get things that for example increase max burn per second without Flame Towers, but that's because there are other towers that can get the ability to inflict burning, so burning is a separate upgrade tree from the Flame Towers themselves.

Frick yea a blitz vid! Hope you're well mate! There are mods for this game. Specifically, gameplay speed/pausing is my most recommended one. It would probly be really useful for you while you are recording. If this interest you and you can't figure it out, just tell me, and I can put instructions here. It's really easy and mostly noninvasive. A tiny bit of backseating; less towers, more upgrading. End of backseating. I look forward to more of your vids! Hope everyone is well.

Particle cannon is OP against shields. It is slow to shoot but has insane range an a single shot annihilates the shield on almost everything. Maybe 2-3 shots will be required to deshield an ooogie.

Your tower placement choices are hindering you, especially the flame/poison towers and the tesla tower. Flame/poison you want to set so they can focus down a straight corridor and do as much collateral damage as possible. Tesla towers should be placed on islands or sharp corners

On the short path, why didn't you have the same logic as the long path? you mentioned you wanted towers to soften up the enemies before they reach the kill box. yet at the shorter path, by the three balistias, you said you didn't want to "mess up" what you had there. The logic didn't track for me. You could have extended the shorter path and built some fire or poison to soften them up. I am trying to understand how extending the path would mess up your defense. That was the most frustrating comment in the video. I guess one way this could have "messed up" your defense is if there was a fork in the path but since you already have a kill box, just make sure they arrive individually. By this I mean, have one path longer than the other. This way after the one "wave" dies the second arrives. This gives your single target towers more chance to hit more enemies. while i sound like i'm complaining i'm still watching you learn and get better at the game thats what we all want right? seeing people get better. congrats on your win.
