I remember listening to this song when I was at my peak with my old retail job, managers being a pain, colleagues not being supportive and I really, being underpaid. 5 long years I slaved away for the company who didn't care on the mental and healthy wellbeing for there workers. But now after months of having this song playing and getting myself together. I got myself out of there for good and went to a new job that has offered me days I can work and more pay! Rock on Blitz!

It's been a long time since I heard a song that felt like it had been written for me. Whilst it's not the most pleasant feeling to have these facts laid bare, they need to be said. As a creative person myself, the part about hating myself for always feeling empty, angry and drained rings painfully true. And I've not known what 'fun' is for a long time. Literally, couldn't tell you what I'd enjoy doing right now if I had the choice of anything. So it helps to know that others, both yourselves and other commenters, feel it too. Thank you.

1) I can see how a lot of people feel this song is relevant to them and I agree with them with the feeling. However, I would escribe this to alienation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/houXh62eftp-ebM&ab_channel=BBCRadio4 Not every one of us has a job we hate necessarily, rather we hate that the job is not appreciated, especially financially. Workers especially have to do multiple jobs just to make ends meet, with the separation of blue collar and white collar workers potentially feeling very similar alienation. We can enjoy the job but when there is a limited "market" of jobs for us, well, we start hating the work we do. 2) In neuroscience, you do learn patterns of movement and thought that lead to a consistent, desired result. We are human robots. :P I suppose the main problem isn't that we are human robots, rather that we are commodified the same as our work and products are (look into Marx a bit more to understand a part of why there are different perspectives yet consistent attributes and behaviors complained of). My interpretation of the song, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
