I just watched the show for the first time no nostalgia and I was honestly having a good time, only bad parts abt the show were the human villains really (except meltdown, he was ight) overall I’m glad there was stuff for you to enjoy (even if you couldn’t get some of the plot points, but that requires knowledge of previous transformers shows so I don’t blame you)

Thats understandable, he looks similar but they had to use the trademark in his name or lose it (or something like that). He was meant as starscream originally, but was switched out before the film released and as such looks very similar to him

Blitzwing means lightning warfare in German and he has a German accent in animated and looks like his G1 counterpart aside from having 3 faces, so its pretty obvious why they named him that.
