how do you check the mixture for proper burn? i see videos of people holding their hands out at their exhaust. does anyone look at the plug? methanol tuning is not an understanding to me.

Hello mate the mk1 is all the basics are the same just not where you set the dial . I’m unsure on exactly what you’ve got to set it two but think it’s 27-30 many thanks dan

Hi Daniel, I finally purchased one of these. When you measure the mixture arm are you measuring from nil to just lightly pressed? Also what is the standard for selecting a jet on these bikes? Thank you!

@@j_356_5 correct mate with the pressure placed on the dial . As for jets it’s what you want the bike to do id use between a 195-225 depending on what your looking for

@@j_356_5 a 195 will make it more peaky and the 225 will make it bog down more all depending on tracks the float height I believe is 21mm from the carb
