BLIZZARD BUFF REAPER
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
Lemme explain the title. If Blizzard somehow see this video... and they listen... free reaper buff since you lot keep saying he needs a buff and I mean I won't complain to a free buff. For real though I think he could use a little spread buff since the tank changes have affected reaper a significant amount.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 2300 hours and 1000 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to hisa lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.

According to that recent Reddit thread, the developers are making changes to some heroes hp levels, lowering them, probably heroes like Sombra, Kiriko, Soujorn, Lucio, and the likes, so that Hanzo can one shot again, and also buffing Reaper, alongside a rework to him in the future, probably mid season 11 or by season 12, lets hope so. I tried loads of games with Soldier and Mcrightclick after this Reaper nerf, but its just not the same, not as fun, not as effective, it just doesnt hit the same way for me. I had to really focus on the squishies though playing as nerfed Reaper, and change my playstyle a lot. Still lots of fun in most situations, i also have a lot more confidence playing Reaper than any other hero, and that makes a huge difference.

In that case I recommend you to play Genji, his way to play is very similar than reapers' and he is very funny too and he is way more effective in the actual game

Tbh i was excited when the announcement came for buffing reaper, but not anymore because most dps have op tools (flying,snipin,sliding etc….)and for reaper it’s hard to make him deal good against that
