Jay, Just a suggestion, when you use the tractor as a snow blower, if you have 21 inches of snow, try setting your bucket out in front of you at a height of about 18 inches. It will push off 3 inches of snow with no problem and it will move it to the side. It looks like the blower attachment is working fine. Keep the chute lubed with vegetable spray and try going a little slower with the tractor to get more throw velocity. Also try aiming the shoot at least 100 degrees from the nose of the tractor so you are always throwing the snow behind and to the side. Less will blow back toward you. Hope it helps! You guys stay safe and have fun in the snow!

Gotta tell y'all, that reminded me of when I was growing up. That is exactly like things worked with snow weather! Shovels and snowmobiles! Guy’s the snow is beautiful all around but I think maybe when spring comes and all the snow is gone that maybe y’all build another covered shelter for the tractor and snowmobile to keep them out of the weather and all the snow off. Then when you need to plow all the snow Jay it will be so much easier for you to just go out and put a heater on the tractor and run back in until it’s ready. So glad that plow is working for you now. You guys don’t freeze out there. I seen how hard the wind is blowing so the wind chill has to be absolutely freezing. Glad to see your feeding the birds too. They really need food in the winter. I think the minnow thing is for straining the snow water to be sure there’s nothing in it. Just a guess.

Have you given thought to possibly integrating a small windmill into your off grid power system? From what I’ve seen on Amazon, they have different outputs that may match your systems voltage requirements. I would love to see this in a real world application if you decide to give one a try.
