I'm actually in this video! I'm the guy taking a picture of Market St. at 55 seconds. About a year ago I saw your video "Frozen Philadelphia" and it made me fall in love with Philadelphia, and instilled in me a desire to shoot the city during a snowfall. When I heard the blizzard was coming I made my way to the city on Friday night, determined to stay the night and go out shooting the next day. You are the reason I was in the city shooting that day, and to think that you were maybe 40 feet from me is serendipitous.

One thing I remember vividly from my time in Philly was that when there was a big snowfall like this, people got out in it. I saw igloos, snowmen in front of virtually every doorway, and lots of people happily wandering around with smiles on their faces. All the coffeehouse and bakeries were packed too. I just loved it!

Love a city in a blizzard. I live in NJ but always like going out during it because it's really pretty. It turns the world off for a split second, and you can really enjoy a city without any traffic or tons of people and chaos

This reminds of the opening sequence of the Imax theater shows at Franklin Institute. Big part of my young childhood. Will miss those. This would have been an amazing new updated opening sequence.

I remember the Blizzard of 1978 that started in February 14 until February 18, 1978 with hurricane wind forced behind that dumped over than 48" of snow in the city. I was a student and was scheduled for exam that can not be made up! when I started the car my sister told me to give up the trips since the heavy parts of storm was on the way and if you strucked on the Schuylkill the police will give you a $100.00 ticket. I went back home and called the school and later the whole state was shutdown for week. It took until March 15, to get rid of all snows with heavy rain and flood since the city can not plow the snow that thick. Our neighbor at Mars Place, sub division had hired the neighbor and rents large size of bulldozer to plow the snow in our block so we can drive to Lindbergh blvd.

Why does 4K look grainy and washed out on a tiny 1440p monitor? Is it the quality of the lens of whatever it is that you are shooting with that struggles to make the images sharp?
