I listened to all the "A Weekend in the City" album, I don't know how many of you guys did that but I strongly recommend it. It's literally one of the most criminally underrated albums of all time. The amount of critical YEARLY (not decade, not all-time) accolades it received is appallingly insignificant for an album of this stature, deepness and complexity

Was living in Washington, DC during my 20s and saw as much live music as possible. I think I'd heard one or two of their songs, went to see them at the Black Cat on 14th St. I think the ticket was $8 and I stood about 5' from them as they played. Excellent show, very good band and performers. I always thought their drummer was absolutely awesome.
