i dont know how under rated they are. i mean they're on mtv, they have 2 full studio cds, a handfull of ep's and singles (that crappy remixed silent alarm), international headlining tours, their music is featured in countless tv shows car commercials and video games, and won numerous awards and acclaims such as 'best new artist'... i think theyre doing pretty good

well to me this song is beautiful and has a lot of substance, the lyrics in general on this album are really heartfelt and honest. My suggestion is to sit down on a nice day while blaring your speakers and read the lyrics song to song, all you naysayers might have a change of heart on the new album.

I just got the album today, and it was never going to live up to Silent Alarm. But It does have some highlights. "Uniform" is going to be the one sticks. It's pure Bloc. Those guys know how to make a vid.

as I read in an interview, the song's about the homosexual undertones in society, mostly with young adults. the way guys are always roughing each other up, always touching...those sorts of things that never actually lead anywhere. I can understand totally what he's getting at.

That comment was made because there are some here arguing that the referrence to trousers and ties automatically means that this song is about two guys. While it is in fact written about 2 guys and an unspoken attraction (as told by Kele), the clothes mentioned means nothing because the uniforms, as you even just pointed out, sometimes consist of those things for females too. That's why I mentioned the clothes.
