This is the ery well behaved Cologne audience. I wonder if they realised that they've just witnessed one of the most exiting interpretations of the Bloch's Schelomo? Bravo!

Simply one of the best orchestral accompaniments to any solo work for any instrument. If this had been the only thing Bloch had written he still would it be considered one of the greats. This work is written perfectly for the cello as I have performed at myself, truly a genius.

That's ERNEST Bloch the composer, not to be confused with ERNST Bloch the philosopher. Thanks

Who would confuse both?

Interesting interpretation. Harsh, dramatic, and exciting--almost frightening, and then the Hebraic sorrow unfolds. It has given me new insight into the music and I feel its strangeness. And (not entirely irrelevantly) what an amazing face this young man has as he plays with so much blood and guts! A great experience!

Agreed, his playing is extraordinary (and is even more handsome up close and very tall). I'm a professional cellist and can tell you he has the most perfect technique I have ever seen. An amazing musician.

Would you like to spend an hour or two on a Sunday playing some Bach Double? I have a few lovely friends who would like to make a quartet/winter sort of group to play around with this piece, and if you would like, it would be wonderful to do this together! Much love to you- missing you! Benji says the same! C
