Self notes 1. n bit top register taken 2. Both the initialization vector loaded at top register taken for encryption and decryption are the same 3. For decryption we use similar mechanism as encryption (exclusive to cipher feedback mode)

The S coming down will be different from the S already present because the blocks of plaintext will differ.

I think there should be decrypt in decryption instead of encrypt can you please verify

Actually not. It should encrypt because of the working of this mode. Because in this, as you do not encrypt the plain-text but the IV, you have to get the same IV to do the XOR operation and that is why you have to encrypt again.
