I don’t think it is a toxin, more like the sword managed to overwhelm the flesh of the user. Cruel King turned into ice as he was defeated, making his injured body unable to comprehend the Ice Dagger power, and as the human body isn’t just a solid block, he crumbled down by himself. Griefer/Brad accelerated the weakening so the sword would take over, and because the plant can still support itself unlike ice, Bubonic Plant was created.

Judging from how this story’s going, I think that it’s based on SFOTH with the first demo 1 having the normal sword and ice dagger and demo 2 having venom shank and jet boots. I’m guessing there will be swords like ghost walker, firebrand, illumina, wind force and dark heart to get added with them having a power up like shadow sphere, shield sphere, medkit, touchstone and battle armour. I’m guessing in the next demo or update they’ll add ghostwalker or wind force next followed by firebrand with illumina then dark heart last. (Just a prediction of what I think)

I see everyone feeling bad for Griefer and his dad (So do I), But I feel like the cruel King was underrated. He basically went through the same experience but he wasn't strong enough to turn himself into an entire monster with the sword (ice dagger). All he wanted to do was protect his kingdom and if you fight him again he still thinks that you're going to destroy it (Even after death he wants to kill you for his kingdom), and being honest if I heard this from some sort of supernatural voice that can probably tell me the future than I would probably believe them (Well not as much as CK did but a little bit, I would make extra planning).

Chapter 3 is either gonna be set in a ghost town like in paper mario ttyd or the mines since in the file select it shows a ghostly sword and since our overworld abilities have been following the paper mario 64 partner list (except goombario and shrink card not representing a partner) Next overworld ability is gonna be a card that emites light and reveals hidden platform and obstacle since in chapter 3 of paper Mario you get watt as a partner and she lights up dark areas and reveals hidden blocks Mark my words!

For those who dont know How the slingshot works and the rocket launcher The slingshot Can shoot up to 4 shots that deals 4 damage But Can be deflected. The rocket launcher is only good for enemy group First enemy takes 2 damage while the 2nd takes 1 damage. Hope this helped

Tip: When Griefer [Bubonic Plant] uses Venom Charge, MAKE SURE YOU DEFEND. It reduces a HUGE chunk of damage you would be taking otherwise if you can't block every attack.

Theory for demo 3 whenever you beat demo 2 (for now) it shows a ghost as the next sword which might hint to ghostwalker as the next sword and also the boss would be a ghost i presume why? I say its a ghost because ice dagger boss was a ice boss venom shank boss was a plant that was a bit venomouns if thats even a word and if im correct it will have 60 hp because cruel king :40 hp. The plant :50 hp so 60hp should be next Oh yea maybe with 4 player it will have like 125 hp
