I usually play hard mode so that future runs will be easier. I'm quite good at knowing how games work and usually master the mechanics early on, so it's quite fun when I actually have to put my early knowledge to the test against enemies that would've been easier if I chose an easier difficulty. Also, nice video!

I recently beat the entire demo on Hard Mode by myself, and trust me, it wasn’t easy. But Lucky Start was a lifesaver when it came to the Cruel King, which took me some attempts.

Keep up the good work, DVN aka Dummies vs Noobs is one of my most favorite game it is so difficult and I am so glad you are covering it 😅 Btw the one and only unit that is shown in the short clip of DVN is a Apu which has a flamethrower. He is medic, likely dynamic difficultly, wave 8 out of 10, and is on the map mansion I believe correct me if any of the information is wrong 😅 He also might be raging about why the game is so difficult. Yeah I am over analyzing.

Dayum bro, that's some wild dedication. I managed to solo those 4 statues with lv 1 stats on normal (no cards 5 SP 10 HP) but always thought it was impossible to do it on hardcore till now :o Well probably not with level 1 stats but yeah xD

I really thought hard mode by myself was really easy. What i did is i got the safe guard card. Defending on itself halfs all damage by half and safe guard does allow you take even less damage. Allowing you to actually take no damage during fights. Blocking is SO important when doing hardmode. Glad to see someone was able to do this challenge.

Man 4 players must be really easy in hard mode I did it with only 1 friend so it was a duo when I was doing hard mode and when I was going to do the pit I realised that there was 4 sentient statues which is impossible to do duo so I brought another friend while doing the pit but then at floor 20 the first friend who helped me do defeat cruel king in hard mode lagged out so it was 2v4 an out numbered fight with the strongest enemies still we managed to do floor 20 duo.

I think no counters is a really bad idea, it punishes the player for being skilled at the game, and it makes fights way more dumb because of it, you just have to tank anything, not to mention statues.

I loved block tales it was hella fun but my god the pit battle floor 19 was hella bad if you didn’t use the glue item or the frozen throwing star it was super difficult ( spoilers) Even with the ice dagger being able to proc kinda fast with 4 of the statue things atking you it’s was super hard as a solo player I recommend going at it someone else
