I feel like hatred wanting to eliminate or get rid of all of the other emotions could imply that saying of “anger taking over” when you just can’t control your anger or suppress it to the point that you’re blinded by anger, and well? With anger also comes with hate could be possible that hatred just wanted to take over the player we play as in the story? After all the character themselves DOES have a bunch of potential.

Still confusing now that i think about it, once we obtained the Ghostwalker which btw in the description of the actual gear itself says "The boast of heraldry, the pomp of power, / And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave, / Awaits alike th' inevitable hour:- / The paths of glory lead but to the grave." and its ability in SFOTH is "Soul Stealing" which could mean the weapon was a test towards our soul? I mean i get it the game stated that it was to test if we were worthy or not, but what happens next? I don't know. .

This OST is beyond good, I never played the game but I might check it out today. This song really reminds me of Level Six [Secret Level] by DJ Striden go check it out if I’m right or wrong.

Even though this is a decent remix, one thing that makes it (in my opinion) pretty poor is the fact that you removed the indistinguishable little jingle that can be heard at 0:43 of the original song. And when removed, it just makes it all drums and percussion and whatnot. Making the whole remix anticipation for the one part that’s missing.
