One thing aswell, the guard usually activate 6-8 frames before the initial attack, around 4 frames for the superguard

@@varxonstuff3152 Ah, I was talking about the Gamecube version. I haven't played the Switch version but from what I'm hearing online it's easier in the remake? Since the game runs at 30fps, 3 frames is twice as long as the original. Essentially the Switch version has a 6 frame superguard window in 60fps. Unless they changed it to 2 like you're saying, but that's still a 4 frame window at 60fps.

For Bubonic Plant's Plant rush, what I usually do is manually time the burst of three at the start, and then just mash because I cannot see wtf he's doing after the first burst

I get that blocking/dodging can increase your survivability but I hate airborne attacks you can't see what's on the top or when the projectiles landing. I hope there's like a sound effect or a another camera position so we can see/hear

Extra Tip! use their attack sound effects to your advantage! Though don't rely on it for some attacks, as they're dead silent during the attack.

@@ScythephightingI don’t know if this will work for you but I usually wait a little after their buzz cue to guard, as a rhythm game player I find it easier to listen to the audio cues of each enemy’s attack so I know when to guard, but I don’t recommend this if you aren familiar with the audio or sounds, and this most definitely doesn’t work for all enemies

A good way to practice guarding is the new 10 levels of the pit, since even if you’re max level, you can always fight the enemies there, combine that with the visual guarding timer card and just keep repeating the fights

A TIP I HAVE FOR ACID RAIN : the plant fires 5 balls at a similar rate so what I do is keep time with them being fired and skip about 1-2 counts in between firing and landing. (If you have a better way of doing it go for it I'm not here to tell you what to do :3 )

Now fighting with chapter 1 enemies, they are way more slower in comparison with the chapter 2 one's My only complaint is that, why are there soo many buff enemies just out in the fucking wild just ready to rush at you and then destroy you (atleast that's what I think) cuz GOD DAMN they're made of paper but hit like a truck especially the boss and boy don't get me started on the second phase. I need tell y'all DO NOT DO CHAPTER 2 WITH HARDCORE ON IT IS HELL, and even then it doesn't matter if you're not they still are too OP even for a game inspired by Earthbound and Paper mario, also I want the memory test NPC to BURN. Overall pretty cool but way too hard even without hardcore (prob with cards it'll get easier but fat chance)
