I don't think he has it in him anymore. There are fighters who can take defeat and come back stronger and more hungry, and there are fighters who are great as long as they're winning but after first defeat their confidence is shattered for all future. Unfortunately I think Gustafsson is the later kind of fighter but I hope I'm wrong. Would love to see him make a comeback but he has to get rid of that unenthusiastic mindset of only seeing fighting as a job. It's like he doesn't dare to feel passion about it anymore because of the way the losses hurt him mentally.

Glad to see Reza get his life back on track - from being in prison to becoming a trainer for elite fighter, it's inspiring to see. You also have to salute the whole team for going out and trying to help the less fortunate.

He is, but in 2013 he and an accomplice broke into a designer handbag store before making off with $150,000 (U.S.) worth of stolen goods. He has since served his sentence of 18 months (served 14). This was big news in Sweden as he was very popular and already big in UFC, naturally people were chocked and disappointed.

The way Till asks Gustafsson if it’s okay to train to get better 🥲 what a humble guy Till is, cannot wait to see him come back better than ever! And what a team he has been surrounded by! Big respect for Khazmat too after watching this documentary! Let’s go Champs!

Darren it is extremely hard to go from big fish in a small pond and decide to get better you need to go where you are just another guy in the room and the ability to humble yourself and listen and learn and want to get better and grow is a beautiful thing . I really think you did something that is going to completely alter your life in the most positive way Darren !
@ashleyferrar52762 жыл бұрын
Darren's stand up needs a solid wrestling/grappling base to thrive from. Once he's comfortable stuffing and even scoring them he's gonna be a totally different beast ! Fighters like Khamzat will only enhance his all round game and mentality when it comes to being a champ. You can see he's destined for a belt at some point. Hopefully that will rub off on Till

Again this is such a genuine and honest video and that's an amazing thing that makes everyone better. The focus here is definitely in the right place. It follows the heart. I see this greatly impacting Till, even on a non visible level. Just a switch from his UK area and getting a breath of fresh air in Sweden. Sweden seems like such an amazing place. Seriously.
