Details Announced about the OPJ NFT + Live Tour!
Event #1:
When: March 30, 2023; 6-8pm ET
Where: Ampersand Studios, 31 NE 17th Street, Miami FL 33132
Who: Julian Holguin, Doodles CEO
There are 150 open spots. OPJ NFT holders can begin reserving their seat on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
One OPJ NFT gives you the opportunity to reserve one seat for each of our 6 live events.
We are airdropping you a new NFT that will (effectively) replace your old NFT. This is how that is going to work:
Tuesday (March 14th) we are going to take a snapshot of all our NFT holders
Wednesday (March 15th) all holders will be airdropped a new NFT that looks just like the original with new functionality and metadata. The original NFT will be changed so that it clearly is not the current NFT.
Thursday (March 16th) you will be able to start reserving seats for the Miami event using your new NFT.
This new NFT will be used for everything. The old NFT will be commemorative with no utility, though the visuals will change to something fun.

I agree that Disney should probably have done the first appearances of major characters on the blockchain themselves, from their perspective. The FA of Mickey was 333 dollars btw, not ~50.

He said VeVe holders are owning the Golden Ticket for FA Disney Collectibles. Just FYI if your not in VeVe yet. They just had the first "Platinum Moments" drop last week. It included FA Minnie & Dumbo. They said their will be plenty more FA Disney to be announced

I don't think Disney made a mistake releasing their first NFTs on Veve back in 2021. They haven't stopped ever since. Even yesterday they celebrated their 100 years anniversary with D100 platinum collectibles like Minnie (also first on the blockchain). 😊

Yes the Veve gm drop, the first ever Disney nft was done in a promotional manner but still doesn’t take away from the facts it’s the first time ever these significant Disney ip character were drop on the blockchain.

Jon Rogers have not been a part of Disney in ages. How can he speak about what Disney got planned or not got planned when he's not at the table of these big meetings? There is a reason why Bob Iger is CEO & not this guy. How is a has been going to tell the current Disney company that what they are doing is not right? First off I will look past Jon incorrectly stating the price of the Disney nfts (Walt statue was $333 not $50). Now let’s examine his claim that Disney did the golden moments drop “to give away a month of Disney plus.” This is also incorrect. The free month of Disney plus was given to collectors by VEVE not by Disney. Veve gave it out to collectors as a special thank you for their support. Now do better research Jon! 35:22

To recap, your personal friend who worked at Disney 10 years ago gets another hour-long profile your channel. He was uninformed and incorrect about most of his musings from your first video. Disney's historic NFT drops of their Golden Moments was no promotional drop - VeVe added the utility, not Disney. Disney has continued for the past year to drop incredible artworks and collectables across Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Disney Studios and Theme Parks, and more. By the way, VeVe just dropped an exclusive Disney100 Platinum Collection with premium platinum collectables, showing the partnership and commitment remain strong... A journalist might ask themselves: have I really got the right interviewee, with his decade old (I know better than the CEO attitude, and) extremely dated experience? Should I consider another source who is not my buddy? Should I consider for a moment a thesis in which the VeVe partnership is integral to Disney's metaverse experiences? Should I reach out to VeVe or Disney for comment? Should I do any of that to be fair to my viewers, who might (I would say are) missing out on a golden opportunity to own Disney's first and most important NFTs? Or nah?
