End of an era, when a drain man hands off one of his jobs to a young whipper snapper, if this gets made into a movie I bet Keanu Reeves will play you, and Martin Freeman for the camera man.

Love it, listening to you guys discussing the various parts of the sewer line and actually understanding exactly what you are talking about. I worked as a counter jockey in the plumbing industry for years here in Perth, West Oz. and also had a mate who was a plumber, so I learned a lot more than you average Joe behind the counter these days. It's been a really good insight watching you work,. Cheers. Bob.

Why do the bathrooms have an outside entrance?? Odd for most of us.
@CallieMasters50005 жыл бұрын
Is that an example of an outhouse that has been joined up to the house?
@englishruraldoggynerd5 жыл бұрын
Maybe it was an en suite nanny’s room, or a garden bathroom with shower for sunbathing perhaps? I imagine that Olly and.... er.... the other one has to have an outside opening separate bathroom and washer for their kit, which I imagine needs washing daily away from their families and household bathroom. Perhaps the owners had similar jobs? If I lived in Sydney I’d be keen for an outside shower too I think!
@buckeye201004 жыл бұрын
Jeremy since when is Australia a third world country?
@ScarabChris4 жыл бұрын
Actually very common in South Florida for one of the bathrooms to have a door that opens to the back patio area, especially if there is a pool. This way when a party is going on or people in the pool need to use the bathroom they don't have to go through the house. This is especially useful during a pool party so people don't drip pool water in the house.

You folks in Oz have got some truly 'unique' plumbing practices. I've never seen houses plumbed like you guys do it down under. Not saying it's bad, just very different.
@Graham_Langley5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I've been meaning to ask for a video on Aussie underground drainage practice. Underground stacks, 'boundary traps', solvent joints used undergound (as opposed to rubber ring seal) and the like are very different to here in the UK.
@badbob93415 жыл бұрын
I do love the easy access covers, have to get me one just in case
@polarbear17544 жыл бұрын
Try watching the drain guys from the UK and tell me what you think of their drainage. Utterly incomprehensible. Outside piping, sewage and drains leading to open gullies... a bit worse than how it's done in Aussieland.
@timhull86644 жыл бұрын
Thats a very tight boundary.. whats the point when oz is so big
