2:25 reminds me of a neighbor, this was 20 years ago, who complained because water was seeping into her basement. I went to look and showed her the blocked drain channel and told her to have some sealant put along the drive against the house and that solved her problem: I was an accounting tech but knew more that she did about home maintenance apparently.

At least you’re not doing what I did for the time I was in OZ. I was in about 20 foot and between roots and other crapola I was getting severely pissed aff so I used 10 litres of a strong weed, killer and came back a fortnight later to find almost all of the a hole neighbours trees were dead, I was a wee bit worried until the customer said if it stops the roots from growing back then she and hubby were happy. As a bonus my team and I got a case of beer. PS, nice thorough job. 🙏👍

I assume those pipes are made of sdr/ thin wall pvc? I’m a service plumber in the US. For yard drains around here they use that black corrugated plastic a lot and I can’t run my machine through it because we worry about tearing it up.
