It's probably frustrating when you can't find the nearest manhole where the sewage goes and instead have to make a mess above the clog. Maybe a different nozzle will help, with three jets backwards and one forward?

Holy moly - when will people ever stop flushing wet-wipes in the toilet??? Wet-wipes, nappies, Q-tips, sanitary napkins, tampons and similar belong in the bin, not the toilet - how is that so difficult to understand?!? But, I guess they are creating steady jobs for you guys. And what a nightmare job - great work in a hellhole of wipes. 👍🏼😊

When our drains kept blocking the housing company's workman told me 'toilet paper is not made to be flushed in toilets'. We use 2 layer toilet paper, not the thick stuff that blocks drains and certainly no wet wipes go in the toilet. So I asked them if they wanted to use the door or fly true the glass window. I called the drain cleaners to check the pipes. There was a building mistake in the drain's system. Nothing went out, rainwater came in. Didn't have a blockage for 6 years now. But we also remove the grease from the manholes every month. Who does that these days ...

Kids. Teenage girls. Makeup. Babies. Disabled people. Toilet Hygiene. TP replacement. To be honest there are lots of reasons. None acceptable, though the disabled perhaps excusable, but not forgivable. Remove from the market, if needed Dr can script them out. Baby wipes Etc need to be dissolvable. The companies would soon enough release properly flushable ones if this was done.

Why do people flush wet wipes? If you have to use them, put them in the bin. I prefer the Japanese style toilet / bidet.
@samuelfellows69234 жыл бұрын
I think it’s the gruesomeness/revulsion of putting wipes smeared with excrement in the bathroom/toilet bin, and the smell of it from the bin. A lot of us would “unfortunately” prefer to buy the “so called” flushable wet wipes and drop in the toilet ☹️. And most loo roll manufacturers say they do special flushable wet wipes that you must buy and use after wiping your bum with toilet paper. One of my memory’s was of my grandmother used to run/owner of a bed&breakfast/hotel, after the guests had breakfast and had left, I would follow the cleaners/grandmother with the cleaning equipment to the guest quarters, where I would look for the rooms that were cleaned and had the door open and go in to look at the extractor fan in the en-suit bathroom, shower/toilet, due to the nature of the plumbing in the guest house - some of these toilets had macerators fitted, and there was a large warning sign on the cistern saying “do not flush anything down this toilet; it will damage/block the macerator” and my Nanna would make sure there wasn’t any wet wipes in any of the bathrooms, to stop the guests from using them and flushing down the toilet. Another related memory is a narrow-boat holiday we had 6 years ago, the company said its boats had been fitted with macerator toilets, and 1 of the most common call-outs for them was the toilet not flushing/blocked-up with the wrong brand of loo roll/wet wipes.

Maybe it's just me but shouldn't the other side be cleared first so the sewage water has somewhere to drain out rather than flooding the patio with sewage? A trash bags would be good just to put the wipes straight into it without so much playing in poop. lol

I’m sorry to say but the machine you have is inadequate for that type of job, if you go look at drain attic in Australia you can see that he has something like 3500 to 6000 psi I think you are working with 1000 at the very most and the hose and the tips that you have are not adequate to cut up any of those paper towels or wipes as they call them that’s what’s making your job a lot harder in my personal opinion need to upgrade on equipment to do this type of work ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
