I have attended this drain a few times now and things appear to be getting worse. There is not much that can be done about the things being put down the drain as I explain in the video but I really think its time to re line this drain.

I'm glad you were so understanding about what was flushed down the drain in this video. It's sad when people you love get old and start losing their faculties. I went through it with both of my parents. First it was dad. It was a little funny at first, but then we realized what was happening. He went downhill fast, it was heartbreaking. Next it was mom, both at about the same time. It was tough to deal with but, it's all part of life. That's why I say good for you for being so understanding about this particular customer. I had to smile at the comment about using the customers hosepipe. In a former life I worked on Narrowboats and it was common for the hose that was being used to fill the water tanks, suddenly be pulled out to stuff into a toilet pump out point, swilled in the river and then put back in the water fill point.....no health and safety concerns at that yard!!!

From watching other drain unblockers and you should not use more than two rods as are more risk of becoming dislodged and/or becoming stuck. Please be careful. Very diplomatic when discussing elderly incontinent issues and placing of products down toilet.

@@drain-unblocker I watch drain addict (Australia) penetrator ( Australia) drain unblockers ( Mersey rod uk) drain unblockers Australia (Australia) just to name a few. Some like rods ( like yourself) but from watching programs like mentioned they also say don’t use more than two at a time due to flaws mentioned. Maybe put a warning saying can use more rods but be careful that’s all asking. Just be careful and mindful.
