RESPECT, yes in capital letters. I've had a simular experience with an overhead pipe. We had to cut it and when it was cut it looked easy, untill the big flow came. Man I felt dirty, even 3 showers later i could smell it.

Thank for such a great english translation! Such a difficult place to clean a drain. You need to wear goggles for safety when you work on overhead pipes. I was waiting to see how bad the pipe was going to explode. Happy that you were OK. Thanks for the video!

Architects who design buildings with overhead traps should be contracted to be the ones cleaning those pipes out then they wouldn't put those pipes overhead! Great job with the collection bags!!! Great job to all of you! Awesome!
@meatsmell86393 жыл бұрын
Contracted? No no no, they should be expected to provide free cleaning services as a result of their failure to factor in maintenance, don't be paying them more to encourage poor design! 😂

❤😍 THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!! 😍❤ Before stumbling upon draining videos, I never knew what all a plumber's job entails. Now seeing it, I want to say thank you. Not only do you work the strenuous job full time, you record it, and then go home to edit all camera angles into one video (something very time consuming for sure). So THANK YOU for taking the time out of your day to edit and upload these videos, simply for OUR satisfaction. 👍🏼😊

@@blockeddrainkorea312 An old trick I used to use when I snorkeled was to polish the inside of the lenses with wax, petroleum jelly or silicone spray using a microfiber cloth to get it to a thin smooth layer. If you do it right, it won't affect the clarity of the lenses in the goggles. There are also vented chemical goggles like these: www.amazon.com/dp/B0001YXFEI/ which fog up a lot less than normal ventless goggles. The vents are designed in such a way to not allow liquids directly into the goggles.

You poor thing!! You had a crappy day for a Friday. It could have been worse and been the septic pipe, though. Glad you are okay, and I bet your shower never smelt something so bad though. Hoping you can get the smell out of your poor clothing, or if they are even washable. Great job, working through it all. You guys took all the precautions you could, but you weren't expecting that much stuff to come out of the pipes. I know that I would end up showering outside under a hose before even trying to go inside, with all my clothes on.. jacket included. Thank you for sharing a part of the downside of being a plumber. I know my plumber had the same type of day here one day, and boys, he didn't smell real good either. He works alone, and he could laugh about it. He said it was a perk of the job. His poor wife didn't think so. lol

I’m just so surprised that people put grease down the drain. I grew up with my Grandparents and you’d have a switch taken to you for putting grease, hair, paper towels, or rough chemicals down the drain. I just collect all my grease in a tin can like they did. Once it’s hard, it gets scraped into the non-recycle trash. You all do a wonderful job. I’m glad you were okay after that explosion.

In my home resides 3 families Who all use 2 washrooms 4 kids live here and flush all sorts of things from time to time but still all that grown in our pipes are roots.
