Right on Tony, another nice one. Three points here: 1/ people who say 'you're supposed to be a professional...' probably never even looked in a chamber in their lives, and either read something in a book or watched one of those 'do your house up in 20 minutes' programmes on television. So with respect to them they're talking out of their behinds. 2/ why on earth have a toilet connection that's not in a chamber? Can get away with a kitchen gully connection, but I've never, and I certain you've never connected a toilet in anything other than a chamber. 3/ hearing that United Utilities have been out and cleared the public sewer and coupled with the fact that you've been in that street/road quite a lot suggests that there's a problem either in the sewer itself or with the connections from the branches into the main line itself. Anyway, another good one 👍

Hi Cheryle, thanks for the comment, yes we have many combined systems here in the uk that where fitted prior to building legislation making developers seperate the sewage from storm water 🙌

My dictionary has it as "Professional - engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as a pastime. I'd say Tony fits that description. PS It also says; A Welder is a professional responsible for assembling pieces of metal or repairing damage in components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metals into shape.
