Chin curtain locks in nice on this one. Wind noise is cut down quite a bit, still a little loud than some other helmets out there, but it’s a a really lightweight helmet w the carbon fiber so, kind of the trade off.

as a local on the west coast of florida, i have become a fan of full face helmet, even on a harley. there is just so much to helmet audio/bluetooth, that make NON-helmet more of a miss than a hit especially, since new helmets are so light, airy, and comfortable (unlike back in the old days)

I live in South East GA so i know what 100% humidity feels like in a marsh, and Ruroc was one of the first helmets I was looking at, the other one was the Icon Airflite. The Airflite has a lot of wind intake as well, and is one of the best looking helmets. But when I get my bike, those 2 are the ones I'm buying first. Ruroc also does a great job in the graphic game. Icon was the only one that had great and unique graphics. Now with Ruroc in the picture, they have competition, and oh boy do Ruroc got some sick graphics. The only thing I would like to see from them now is more customization. Ruroc is a unique company and will be one of the biggest names in the helmet industry. Curious if they'll make more models and not just the Atlas.

I love the review and all the stuff that Ruroc took the advice from you guys about what to fix! Its great to see a company take the advice and give their customers exactly what they want. Question for you though Blockhead. What sissy bar did you get on your low rider S?

i contacted Ruroc, they advise that there is further details to follows about possible options for getting the new visor locking system, and pinlock visors being possibly able to fit to 1.0 version. I look at atlas being a late spring to early autumn helmet only for us in the UK. i do use custom earplugs when riding with any helmet to lessen the wind noise effects on my ears. It is a shame that the shock wave does not do rider to rider communications.

Love that you got to see the new features! I have the Ronin here in Colorado and still get looks and comments on that helmet. So excited to pick up one of their new lineups!!!! I did notice that even with a 1.0 that if I am wearing a neck gaiter around my face and ears that the cold is completely negated. Very curious how the 2.0 will do in the Colorado cold haha.

What appeals to me about these ruroc helmets is how light weight they are and how they've integrated the bluetooth speakers/mic system. Besides that, I can't justify the price when I've already got a good helmet that's working perfectly fine for me (and was fairly expensive as well)

Hey Blockhead a big fan of you, i need some help here, the Ruroc Atlas 2 helmet i am so keen to get one, but atm i am using a HJC Rpha pro 11 Venom edition, with the HJC Pro, i had to go one size up, it fits really awesome! the size is 58 to 59cms the Rurocs are M 57-58cm or L is 59-60cm i'm no to sure what i should do.... i have emailed them still waiting for reply but was going to buy it today before couriers etc stop cause of Lock-down im from New Zealand - anyways keep up the awesome work

I have the 1.0 Platinum ronin and I love it the biggest thing is definitely how difficult it is to put on and take off the helmet the hook and loop adhesive even came off from forcing it on but I definitely plan to get a 2.0

It almost seems like they have their detentes upside down. It looks like it is locking at multiple positions above the opening in the helmet where it doesn't matter and at only one in the opening that is like 80% open. Helmet still looks sweet though.

I own a Ruroc Atlas platinum Ronin and apparently parts of the helmet are falling off..... The 'under-chin' cushion came out within a month not sure if it is designed like that or its defective The accessory part on the back of the helmet which is assisting the airflow is dropping off as well

My question is how much air flow gets into the helmet? I use full face helmets for the colder months, and i live in ohio so I'm talking about 40-60*F. Can you close off the vents at all?

Awesome videos! Just wanted to point out that at some points, I can hear an echo of your voice. Maybe Ana's mic is picking it up? Also want to point out for anyone who has the 1.0 and doesn't want to upgrade, I got rid of a lot of wind noise by stuffing two cotton balls into each ear hole. The standard foam they have in there is too small and doesn't cover the whole gap. Could also do the same with the 2.0? Also working on a way to lock my visor down to get rid of the wind noise from the visor. Wish I could get that Toxin lid though. So bad ass!!!

Hey Block, I’m interested in if you would know if this new version would be able to work with prescription glasses. My blind ass really wants a new helmet, yet these damn glasses get in the way most of time.

Just tried it on to check and tried putting sunglasses on. Wasn’t comfortable, but suppose it could also depend on size / angle of the temples of your glasses

I feel like the Evo sounds better than the bigger m8 engines, but that is totally personal preference. Sitting here in the cold Denmark eating breakfast. Going through what I call my "motorcycle-winter-depression" Haha.. my cousin swings by later and we are going to plan our motorcycle trip this spring! Going to do a Saddle Sore 1000 and just drive around Europe for a few days. Bought a brand new 2019 Iron 883 back in august and I cant wait to ride it again! :D Do the Ruroc helmets come with cutouts for other communicator speakers as well? Wondering if it would fit the Sena s10 that I have. :) Stay vigilant and keep the shiny (or in my case, mate black) side up! Cheers from Denmark

Good luck w the Saddle Sore 1000! They do have speaker cutouts, should fit other communicator ear pieces fine.

And on the way back we will drive the Stelvio Pass :D Can't wait, it is going to be a challenging and awesome trip! :D In the meantime, until april 1st where my riding season starts, I will have to get my motorcycle fix watching your videos :D Keep up the good work Block! I have to ask you're using a cardo or sena device. but why not the shockwave? I need a honest answer if the shockwave Is trash or is it because you can't talk to other riders while riding and using the shockwave. Someone who has the helmet pls let me know.

I wonder whats the name of communication device.. It's pretty cool.. Clear voice..
