A quick tip on the image quality. If you upload at 1440p or higher youtube will process it using the VP09 codec which is much better than the AVC codec used for 1080p videos, so it will remove some of the compression artifacts. I'm starting my channel so have been recording videos for a couple of months, I was really pleased when I exported and watched the video but as soon as I uploaded it to youtube (the videos are scheduled so not available yet) and watched it there... I was so sad lol so after digging around it turns out it is because of the codec used by youtube. I was recording 4k and exporting 1080p but now I'm recording 4k and exporting 1440p, the quality is much better even if played back at 1080p! You can do the opposite, keep recording at 1080p but then export at 1440p, youtube will then apply the VP09 codec so you will still see the benefits! Send hugs to Pedro from Spell/Spellim ;)

I'm actually in the process of buying my first bike and getting a permit in said state, I've considered starting a channel not really to vlog but more to just kinda show the side of riding from beginner to intermediate as I go through it. I feel like it'd be nice just to kinda give the viewers the perspective of learning and progressing into a better rider, naturally I wouldn't do this at the immediate start (probably a few months in) but once I started to feel comfortable on the machine (not over confident) I feel like it'd be something new riders and even experienced might vibe along with.
