Blocking in 1.0 feels more rewarding, however Sonic can easily miss it, and it has small hitbox. On the other hand, 1.2 block got average hitbox and its can be easily triggered due to sonic having lunge, however it wont just save ur ass against small cause he's fast and big cause he can just charge at you later on.
