Excellent presentation. My father was born near West Blocton in 1936. My dads side of the family still live around there .I spent much of my life with my father and uncles hunting around this area. We used the tramway and rail beds to traverse our hunting grounds. The remains pics brought back memories.

I know you do this for industrial history, but the railroad history is a killer! It's amazing at how many "roads" were in Alabama at one time, only to have them consolidated by the government while yelling about monopolies!
