I love this song too much, when I first heard it my tears wanted to shoot out of my eyes. I don't have friends who like the same music as me, it is good to know that there are still many people who have the ability to empathize with this song, I think this song is one of Damien's masterpieces and I am happy to have listened to it . I've met the girl with the short hair yesterday at the house concert recorded by the blogotheque . When he started singing it takes a lot to know a man , she started to sob and had to step back . After the show I've asked her if she was ok, she told me that the day of the house gig, blogotheque just uploaded the video from Berlin and it brought too much emotions . I'm so happy for her in a way. Whoever you are , girl, I have a picture of you staring at Damien during yesterday's event

Amazing. If any of you see this I would love to know how you felt being there :D

I have never experienced anything more emotional than this. It's as if I was there and could sense every vibration and every breath. I cry every single time I watch this, especially at the end when silence hits and the last echo fades. Whoever came up with this incredible idea is a genius. What a gift, my god. I would have cried my heart out in that chair. There are no words for me to express how much I appreciate Damien Rice and his talent. And this collaboration with Cantus Domus was just perfection. Thank you @La Blogothèque for allowing us viewers to be part of this almost otherworldly experience.

I imagine you will not see this, but I SO agree with your comment, and wanted to note for you that it was Damien himself who created this whole series concept! So this here is him being one of many artists carrying out the vision that was his. Hope you are well!

@@grace_segars I have just seen your comment and wanted to thank you for letting me know who the genius was behind this incredible concept, and Damien Rice being that genius fits in the picture perfectly. You are very kind for sending this message, thank you! I am well, certainly much more so than a lot people directly affected by war and destruction but absolutely sad and pessimistic about the world and where our civilisation is heading in general. These are sad times and art and music like Damien Rice's are my only solace under these depressing circumstances. But I am getting by. And I do hope you are well too!

I have followed Damien for many years. I remember thinking during his hiatus if we could just get he and Lisa back in the same room to perform for all our leaders, world peace would be the only logical outcome from such magnificence. After seeing this, it is his brilliance and humility that make world peace attainable, nothing against Lisa. His ability to sing to the soul accompanied by these angelic voices is something to behold, it demands a visceral response. I love when artists re-emerge with more depth and clarity.

Amazing story about his visit to Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar (Burma, search her story), Peace Nobel Prize, while she was in house arrest. A song came after that visit, called "Unplayed Piano". Amazing and must be listened to on headphones. Thanks to all for this and also to sound engineer for fantastic recording. I bet the "kidnapped" after the performance left the room and found a quiet space and just literally broke down and cried - it would have been me. Holding it together while cameras were on but after - would have had a breakdown. Hard to take so much perfection. Once in lifetime experience, I'm sure.

I love the reactions you managed to capture. The long haired girl who seemed simply amazed and in awe, the short haired girl who seemed to break out in tears almost immediately and looked like she was holding it back the whole time, the stoic man who looked like he was likewise barely keeping his stoic face who looked totally stunned by the end. I can only imagine how astonishing it would have felt not just emotionally but physically to be surrounded by all those voices in the nice reverb of that room. I want to move to Europe if only to one day be able to wander into one of you brilliant performance concepts.
