Vol. 4 of the Rap Battles has begun and this time, to celebrate ten years of the channel, we thought we'd look back to the "Gaming All Star Rap Battles" Era of the channel and revisit some old ideas that feel deserving of becoming reimagined in this rap battle series. Starting off, we got a really old matchup from ten years ago. Pit from Kid Icarus goes up against Kratos, the God of War to see which of these god slaying video game protagonists will be coming out on top in this rap battle. Who will triumph in this reimagined matchup? That's for you to decide!

Kratos is a character and the protagonist of Santa Monica Studio's God of War series, based on Greek mythology and, later, Norse mythology. He first appeared in the 2005 video game God of War, which led to the development of eight additional titles featuring the character as the protagonist. Kratos also appears as the protagonist of the 2010 and 2018 comic series, as well as three novels that retell the events of three of the games. The character was voiced by Terrence C. Carson from 2005 to 2013, with Christopher Judge taking over the role in 2018's continuation, also titled God of War. Antony Del Rio voiced the character as a child in God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
Pit is the main protagonist of the Kid Icarus franchise. He first appeared in Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986, followed by an appearance in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy in 1991. Other than a handful of cameos, Pit didn't make another major appearance until the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in 2008, and again in the 2012 Nintendo 3DS title Kid Icarus: Uprising.

It feels like only yesterday I was clicking my heels after hearing I’d be playing Kratos in your GASRB finale… I recorded that role on a phone btw lol. Crazy how things have changed in those years, from our work to our relationship in general really. Either way I can say with absolute certainty I don’t regret a second of any of it. Can’t wait for the rest of the volume!

I can still remember watching the classic trilogy of this match-up. You did a phenominal job with this remake, I'm already looking forward to Dante vs. Ryu. Oh, and Kratos won this.

I may not have seen the original, but that’s cuz I kinda popped in around the time of the Pokken rap :x Either way, there were bars and barbs being spit all over this one 💀 think i’d give the edge to Pit, but only slightly(those family lines would definitely sting deep)

Here’s an idea for a bonus battle during this amazing Volume How about a lost and/or scrapped suggestion that you’ve planned on doing before during the “GASRB” era, but never gone around to it I’m talking about Squidward vs Octodad (Btw, I was the one who made that suggestion years ago and gave you the idea of Cartoon or Movie crossover you were planning on for GASRB lol. If you dont want to do that for a Bonus Battle, then I can understand that😅)

Nice battle here's an idea the shadow king from marvel comics vs ori from ori and the will of the wisps connections both are immortal beings but one is the master of light and spirit and the other is the master of darkness and nightmares and the shadow king has mind controlled powerful people like Xavier and legion while ori saved a forest from dark creatures in a day without stopping.
