So the sugar you put on the bottom doesn't dissolve because it's always cold?

Hi Rich. There's no sugar put into the TEA-JAY, it is flavoured syrups, which may have dissolved sugar, and/or natural juices. Once the hot tea is released from the brewing reservoir, swirl the TEA-JAY to melt the ice cubes and mix the ingredients together.
