Blon BL-Mini for Gaming - My Favorite Macaroni

Haven’t used these for gaming yet but I know they’d be great as I’ve used them with spatial DSP and they deep yet still provide a holographic spherical space. Also, the better fit can help get proper imaging and balance. Bl-05s is more realistic with more air but could be fatiguing over time. They are awesome as well.

Fits so much better than the BL-03, stock tips work fine, sounds pretty good, and the cable is really nice and IMO nicer than what's included with Jade EA1 or other similarly priced IEMs. I have the Fiio FH3 and prefer their fit and sound, but these Minis are seriously no joke. Great for the gym too since they isolate well and they don't break the bank.

Nice video! This might sound weird, but any ideas for IEMs you can sort of lie on? When I'm lazy/sleepy I like lying on my side and watching videos/tv shows. The VK4 are almost comfortable for me to lie on, although they kinda stick out. The blon mini look tiny in comparison so that might just work. Thoughts?

The closest I can get would be the bl03 since it lays more flush than others. For me the mini was more prone to digging in when I laid on it

Apple Earpods are trash for gaming... I use zsn pro x for valorant and works fine. Now i order the blon bl03 for testing

Thank you so much for this. I am playing CSGO competitively and was wondering if you had any trouble with hearing footsteps while people are talking in discord/in-game? And which of them would you recommend for that specific usecase?

Hadn't had too much trouble tracking feet over the banter of my team, but I do sometimes tell them "pipe down, someone's near," to which they do, and I have become the main tracker ever since I started doing audio reviews. For CSGO, I'd lean more towards the Mini because the mids should do a better job at bringing out the stepping sounds.

@@Teknickel Thanks, ordered the Mini's. I decided just to get 2 pairs of IEM's. I'll use the Blon Mini's for competitive gaming and while streaming (hopefully they work fine for video editing too because of the more neutral sound), and then get another pair with a more V shaped sound signature for immersive games, content consumption & music. Hopefully that's a good plan, still trying to find good ones for "enjoyment" because I can't stand shrill heights :D

@@TeknickelAbsolutely! I've been using the Blon Mini's for 4 days now and am incredibly impressed by the price to performance ratio. The fit is fantastic and work decently well for CSGO with some EQ. What surprised me is that I've enjoyed listening to rap and EDM quiet a lot on these, the bass is punchy as hell :D Thanks for the suggestion and your help, certainly don't regret spending the 35€!

i actually would recommend this, and if you like more bass, the bl03. tracking does well on both

which one is more comfortable in your opinion? that's probably gonna be the deciding factor for me since im going to be gaming for awhile while using them. Also, are their any other earbuds/iem's that you've used that are more comfortable and decent for gaming? thanks

Hmmm, for me it was the blon bl03 for sure. It just sits just right. As for other IEMs, my main go to is the Moondrop Aria, which is comfortable, but not nearly as comfy as the bl03. Like for pure comfort, I definitely would get the BL03, but this isn't a guarantee since not everyone has the same ear shape, but I think most would be ok.
