The Cuteness Warning is referring to the Pandas or to Blondie? =)
@chsu9152 жыл бұрын
I never understood people’s fascination with mukbang until I went to Chengdu’s panda research base and watched this one panda eat bamboo for a solid 45 minutes. The panda had three motions: reach for bamboo, put bamboo in mouth, chew, repeat. I took around 150 photos and 20 video clips, all of the same things. It was mesmerizing. Glad you had fun in Chengdu! The food is a amazing.
@Woodland262 жыл бұрын
the panda that I observed in Ocean Park in HK ate like this: gather branch with bamboo leaves, stripe all leaves out in one stroke with its paw, then eat the stack of leaves in one go. They also left some carrots out for the pandas as treats.

Blondie, you are the most positive Aussie I have seen. I enjoyed your videos even though I am 50 years older than you are. I have the opportunity to visit Chengdu Panda Research Center in 2018. We were with a tour group and the tour guide came back and told us our admission was free because we were over 70.
@troyliu9902 жыл бұрын
I love her being positive and energetic too! Yup many places are free for those aged 70+ - not age discrimination or something it's just the culture of China to show respect and offer convenience to this age group.

One more funny thing about the baby panda, if they have close interaction and bound with their caretaker, they usually learn to answer human talks with Sichuan accent, and some of them seems to learn to listen a bit of Chinese language... There are a lot of footages of Chinese tourist said something, then the panda suddenly start to give related reactions...

When I was teaching in China some friends and I took a weekend trip to Chengdu specifically to go see the babies while they were still little, and we all definitely had a cuteness overload, lol! Thanks for the warning!

These Chengdu videos will unlock so many memories from my first visit to China but this panda 🐼 one especially. I loved going here and even seeing the red panda enclosure as well! Eating at the bamboo restaurant was wild. “Could they really make a menu with that many bamboo dishes?!” Yes. The answer is yes.

Another fascinating video Amy. When I was a little kid in UK, I had a photo of 4 pandas taken as a group back in the 60's by my uncle who was a photographer. It was extremely rare to see more than one panda together outside of China back then so I treasure this photo very much. Needless to say the photo was in black and white....ha!!!!

"Looks like avocado." Hahaha, except this one doesn't spread as evenly on toast. ;) I'm slightly terrified seeing them cling onto the shoots at such great heights, though. Almost doesn't seem like it'd be physically possible for them to climb that high given their size. Also didn't know they're as small as mice as newborns.
@manalin69172 жыл бұрын
Hi Razear, there's a thing about Panda, they seems not aware of their size and weight, there are often incident happens in the wild bamboo forest when large sized adult panda fall from tall trees result in brain bleed, the chinese panda protection orginisation have to rescue them ... bit dumb eh.haha
@stevengu930 Жыл бұрын
This is one of the reasons for the scarcity of wild pandas. Some wild pandas will go to the treetops on the edge of the cliff to sleep, and they may fall down at any time.
