Playing without Umbralefic Crystal, having a bunch of stuff off the board so that you don't have 19 Cabal Points turn 1, losing Magnus turn 2. Not abusing double Doombolt every single turn, not having a castle around Magnus for +1 to hit/wound and using the indirect strat to remove the big threat squads from a safe distance, not moving the Exalted Sorcerer on disk into a position turn 1 so that he can spot and give indirect or throw doombolt/remove save from one threat unit and halve the move/advance/charge on another threat unit turn 2. This was a poor example of how to play TS and the match should not have ended the way it did if the TS player had more experience with the army.

He's cheaper than Lemartes, slightly better than a regular chaplain, and he's cool. I still think Lemartes is the better unit on paper, but it's always worth trying overlooked units every once in a while.

Hi dude, so Astorath is in my opinion an auto include over lemartes now as he is 40points cheaper and gives dev wounds to his unit once per game with fight on death on a 4+ you can get the lethals on the unit through a Strat if you so wish and the -1 damage isn't necessary as it costs far to much for the death company to become a fair trading piece with lemartes at a 400pts unit instead of Astorath and 5 at 225pts especially in sons they do the job and aren't as much of a loss when they die
