Thanks for being part of Canada’s lifeline! Think in Quebec they have their own thing going with blood. It’s all through “Hema” and their donation centres are called “plasmavie”. They always have to be different lol

random question for you Ken but im interested to know. How do you know if the ice on the lake is safe to walk on or skate on?

You can cut a hole in it and measure the thickness. Given the fact that it's mid January and there have been snowmobiles on it, I'm sure the ice is plenty safe to walk on.

Canadian blood donors are treated well. In the UK, donors get a choice of tea, coffee or "orange" cordial (that is full of chemicals and not a drop of orange juice at all) and a custard cream biscuit.
