@gabrielresendiz well I honestly have to go back and rewatch it, but I got a couple mixed thing's about this. I automatically assumed Miklo had him taken out because it would make him the official boss of the gang since he was next in line and he would be able to go to war, getting rid of all the enemies of the gang, ceasing full control over the prison. I was told in the comments by someone that it wasn't Miklo but it was instead his right hand man that had did it and it's some dialogue there in that particular part of this video that @akavir timestamped in his comment that you can kind hear how the friend had it done because he knew the gang needed Miklo's leadership for the gang by any means. He says something like "we do what we have to do."... Also they have the mold for the comb of the black gang leader in the cell at the end of this film that Miklo was disposing of in the sink. Meaning it was either Miklo or his friend that sent the forged comb for the hit to be done while framing the black gang leader of doing it. Alright now I want to go rewatch it 😂😂...

Yo my dude had a good time watching your review. Good job and it was impressive how you was caching most of the plot points even though you don’t know Spanish. Miklo saved Pachos ass several times and he could have blown Pachos head off when Miklo caught him slippin when Pacho head was clear at the window of the van, instead Miklo takes his mask off and tells him he owes me one and actually he owed Miklo more than one and should have let him go then go look for him and try to set him straight. Shooting him causing Miklo to lose his leg is an automatic hit on Pacho. They should have put a hit on Pacho and his partner.

@Street Trout I appreciate you rocking with the channel, but for the movie Heat, I watched it a few year's ago and I'm in agreement that it's definitely a classic film. I was surprised to learn that Dinero and Al Paccino did that movie without shooting any scenes together especially the restaurant scene they had because that bouncing back and forth over the whole "flip side of the coin" lines was masterfully acted as if they were together when running through those lines. If you have any other recommendations, definitely list a few out for me and whatever I haven't seen, I'll check it out no matter the genre 👊.

How I see it, it was a story of contradiction, Paco who was feared in the hood became a cop who is against gangs, Miklo became a KingPin/Leader of the Mexican prison gang despite him being a joke at the beginning of the movie who was always taken as a joke, then Cruz, who was an artist who had a promising future but ended up being a junkie. Yeah I agree, Paco heavily influenced both lives, but like you said, everyone else could have stopped and they are all adults. That’s why when Paco said Life’s a risk Carnal, that hit so hard for this movie to me. The shot of tequila at the end is true, some of us get used as one just a shot and some feel effects even after it’s gone. When miklo life really changed was when Paco stayed after the crash at the beginning, you will see how “vatos locos forever” changed his life, but Imma negative way.
