When two come as one, its like creating a seam. The seam seemed perfect on the outside but on the underside of the garment, it’s the most unpleasant and roughest side. In the video, their relationship was portrayed as perfect; two souls intertwining their energies as one but in the end, he still ended up alone. They go through difficult moments but it wasn’t reflected in the story because we only see what he wants us to see, which is the all good moments they shared. The relationship was far from perfect. Being together was making a beautiful mess of a painting. Simply collateral damage. Having to learn to go on without your source of hope. Missing their touch and their presence in your life. Life was brighter with them. But all you can do now is to close your eyes to feel them again through memories shared. The constant yearning of someone that was once everything to you. That is why ‘Seam of Life’ was my fav moment of the story.

Most underrated artist!! This short film is indeed amazingly beautiful. The discovery of slchld was one of the finest things that happened to me this year. His songs give me so much comfort. My overall fav. masterpiece is "I find peace in the rain" and "obsidian" is my favorite song from blood lotus diary. I want to gatekeep his music, but he deserves a lot of praise and recognition. I'm so delighted I came across this hidden gem. Slchld, keep doing what you love! I'll always be a fan of yours.

I wish he could do the same with me. it's not the best but at least I'll stay beside him. but I swear, every song from this album is a miracle. like a love story that everyone should hear and there are memories that flash in every last stanza. thanks for the song and your hard work. This album is portrayed in pictures in this video, really well. I feel like some emotions just can't be explained, they can only be seen when you watch carefully in a glance, in a smile. We can feel the chemistry of the actors and the warmth as well as the tense atmosphere. The cinematography and staging are amazing, the idea of making a music video for an album and not a song) is new and interesting. Love the consistency in producing music. Every song hits in different ways, yet has a style that easily makes it identifiable as slchld. I’ve been listening since the end of 2019 when I heard “say what’s on your mind” and have been a fan since.
