*Poor Jimin. Lil bro looked EXHAUSTED. I know the feeling. Not so much as a performer but as a police officer. He pushed himself to the limit just to make it through the performance. Always the consummate professional. ✊🏾💪🏾💜💙 I’ve experienced that a few times when my body and lungs were SCREAMING at me “we can’t take anymore! If you don’t stop willingly, we’ll all shut down on your ass!” 🤦🏾‍♀️ I couldn’t stop though because someone else’s life depended on me getting them to safety.* *One of those times, it was a child that had been shot and was unconscious, but it wasn’t safe to start life saving measures because the suspect was still shooting at us. So, I picked the baby up and had my gun in my dominant hand returning fire(shooting back at suspect) the best I could while carrying the baby and running up an embankment(huge, steep, hill) while taking every necessary opportunity to duck behind cover so I didn’t get shot and the baby didn’t get shot again. I had to get that baby to safety by any means necessary because my partner and backup couldn’t get to us to help us because of the gunfight we were in. That baby’s life literally depended on me getting them to safety. So, even though I literally couldn’t catch my breath, my legs were trying to give out on me, my arm that I was carrying the child with was shaking very badly and trying to give out on me, causing me to drop the child, I could literally feel my entire body trying to quit on me, and I felt like I was about to pass out, I refused to stop. By the grace of God, we made it to safety, the suspect was apprehended after an 8 hour standoff with our SWAT team and negotiator, and the child made a full recovery.* *Anyway, every time I see someone who looks to be pushing themselves to their physical limit to accomplish a goal, I’m reminded of that day and experience I had and I empathize with them. I’m proud of Lil bro Jimin, as always. AMAZING job, Lil Bro!✊🏾💪🏾💯💜😂*
