Babies in those tests performed in the 30's and 40's were kept warm, clean, and fed....and they suffered dramatically even before they reached 4 months of age. And some of them even died. Oh, well, if not blood related, you definitely cannot be the father of the child! Never mind if you love him and raise him and teach him life lessons, help him through illness and tough times, through his joys and walk him through all his "firsts!" No bloodties, no fatherhood. Sorry, adopted kids and stepchildren! You're not really your non-blood parents' kids! Bull. If you raise a child with love, they're yours. That statement is perhaps oversimplified, but I'm sure it gets the point across. An aunt or uncle can be a parent. Or a godmother or godfather. If you can't love a baby unless you share blood, you don't deserve to be a parent! (Believe it or not, I've read stories of married couples who hired a surrogate mother, the wife's egg wasn't used, and the husband slept with the surrogate, that's why I included male and females in my previous comment.) Blood means nothing, it doesn't change who you are, and shouldn't change how you care for someone, and society needs to get past the idea it matters. It's an archaic concept and always has been. About as ridiculous and archaic as having brothers intentionally marry sisters to keep "bloodlines pure." How many blood parents abuse their children? And when that child ends up in a loving family who raises them, who do you consider the child's true parents? Parents are loving, nurturing, supportive caregivers responsible for a child and guide them through life! Blood or no. All right Conservatives, the kind who believe women are baby factories and belong in kitchens, come at me if you think it's worth your time. But just know you won't change my mind.

I think he's more hurt about the fact she lied to him.

@horsetuna Ah, I can see that. But she could be telling the truth, and really have thought he was the biological father. Or she could have been promiscuous. Anyway, that baby is hopefully a safe, happy secure young man with a stable loving family now.

I don’t want to be gross and offensive towards women but if you’re gonna have unprotected sexual relations with men then you should BYO condoms and keep a notebook of your adventures so you don’t do this to another man. I’d be furious but then again I don’t think it was a long term relationship but he was there for the child and did the right thing she’s the one who’s a jack rabbit..
